Timing matters
For many people, the first Medicare enrollment window begins three months before the month they turn 65 and ends three months after that month. Some people are enrolled automatically, while current job-based coverage, disability, or other circumstances can change the timing.
Missing an enrollment period may lead to a coverage gap or a late-enrollment penalty. Always confirm the dates that apply to your situation.

The right fit depends on the care, prescriptions, costs, and flexibility that matter to you.
